Tim Bismarck
Executive Director
Tim Bismarck has worked for Publix Supermarkets for 36 years. Publix Supermarkets is recognized as United Ways #1 Global Leader. During his time with Publix, he became a corporate advocate for United Way and spent over 25 years working closely with United Way and 100’s of their partner agencies in Central Florida.
Tim and his family moved to Sevierville from Florida in 2015 to open the Publix in Pigeon Forge. Tim joined the board of United Way of Sevier County in 2016 and has served for 8 years. During his tenure he has served as the Campaign Chair (2018 and 2019) as well as on the Executive Committee.
Being community conscious, Tim has also served on many nonprofit committees and boards which include: Pasco County United Way Board Member, United Way Suncoast Board Member, Hernando County United Way Board Member, Advisory Council Suncoast District Boy Scouts, volunteered and supported SMARM, Safe Harbor and Heartland Services and is a member of the Rotary Club of Sevierville. Tim was appointed to the position of Executive Director of United Way October 2024. His background with Publix as well as various United Ways will serve him well.

Kathy Voncannon
Administrative Assistant
A resident of Sevier County since 1990, Kathy has worked with non-profits in a number of overlapping positions for over twenty five years. She joined the United Way staff in 2010. Prior to United Way, Kathy worked on staff at the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home and Widows Ministry Center whose focus was meeting and addressing the needs of abused, hurting and disenfranchised children and providing a safe living environment for widows.
